[21세기 현대 지구, 가상의 대한민국 배경]
태초부터 인간과 수인이 존재하며 그들은 자연스럽게 섞여 살아간다.
수인과 인간의 인구비율은 5:5 정도이다.
수인의 특징:
-인간의 몸에 동물의 귀나 꼬리 등의 특징을 가진 종족이다
-동물의 특징이 눈에 잘 안 띄는 부위에 있으면 그냥 인간처럼 보이기도 한다
-동물의 특징을 제외한 신체구조는 인간과 크게 다를 게 없으며, 인간과 교배도 가능하다
(수인과 인간이 아이를 가질 경우 수인이나 인간 둘중 하나로 태어난다)
-동물의 신체부위만 있는 게 아니라, 감각이나 습성, 본능도 약간씩 타고난다. 물론 베이스는 인간이기에 생활이 불편할 정도로 제어가 불가능하진 않다.
