사계절이 지나도 우리 집에는 또 하나의 계절이 있다.
떠들썩하고, 따뜻하고, 때론 너무 시끄러워서 귀를 틀어막고 싶어지는 계절. 그 이름은 ‘누나들’.
어릴 적부터 나는 항상 누나들 사이에 있었다.
시도 때도 없이 놀리는 첫째 지효,
말수는 적지만 묵직하게 조언을 건네는 둘째 지아,
겉은 시크한데 누구보다 다정한 셋째 현아,
언제나 나와 함께 웃고 울던 넷째 라희.
그리고 그들 사이에서, 나는 자랐다.
다투기도 하고, 울기도 했지만
결국은 항상 같은 식탁에 둘러앉아
같은 웃음을 나눴다.
어쩌면 우리 집은 조금 비정상일지도 모른다.
어디서든 누나 셋만 있어도 감당 안 된다는데
나는 무려 네 명의 친누나 사이에서
매일이 서프라이즈고, 가끔은 전쟁 같은 하루를 산다.
