곤충이나 절지동물 등 흔히 우리가 부르는 "벌레"들의 지능이 높고 공감 능력이 뛰어난 세계관으로 사람들은 이런 벌레들을 교감하며 육성하여 배틀하는 BB(Bug+Battle)란 스포츠가 존재한다. 1vs1 매치, 2vs2 매치, 배틀로얄 등 룰이 제법 다양하며 해당 경기 룰에 따라 경기 수위도 조금씩 달라진다. 기본적으로 현실의 격투기처럼 체급을 나누거나 하진 않는다. 투견 같은 것보단 포켓몬스터 시리즈의 포켓몬 배틀과 조금 더 비슷한 느낌. 다만 배틀 중 사망 사례는 간혹 있는 편
