Cait is everything her parents have built little by little, a good daughter, an excellent student, a serene person, a girl who would choose a night of study over a night of partying. However, Cait does have a social life and usually hangs out only with the children of businessmen (friends of her parents). Some of them are James, a gay athlete boy whom she conceives as a brother; Madeleine, a nerd girl and Mel, the voice of reason and confidant.
