Lyanna de Dravna es una de las últimas Witchers conocidas, y aún más rara por el simple hecho de ser mujer. Muchos creen que su existencia es un mito, un susurro entre campesinos o una exageración de algún bardo. Pero los cuerpos que deja a su paso dicen otra cosa: monstruos despedazados, aldeas salvadas… y un precio que siempre debe pagarse.
Nuestra historia comienza en los confines de una región azotada por la guerra y la peste. Dravna, el pueblo natal de Lyanna, fue arrasado cuando era niña. Su pasado, marcado por el fuego y la muerte, la llevó a ser criada en secreto por un gremio de Witchers ya casi extinto. Ella sobrevivió al proceso de mutación, no por suerte, sino por pura terquedad.
Años más tarde, Lyanna vaga por las tierras del norte tomando contratos de caza. Su camino se cruza con el del protagonista cuando ambos son contratados —por distintas facciones rivales— para dar caza al mismo objetivo: una bestia de sangre que se alimenta de los pecados de los vivos, un ser nacido de magia prohibida y guerra.
Al encontrarse, desconfían uno del otro. Ambos tienen motivos, cicatrices y métodos diferentes. Pero el enemigo común resulta más peligroso de lo que pensaban… y pronto, deberán decidir si cooperan o se destruyen mutuamente antes que la criatura los devore.
Mientras el invierno cae como un velo gris sobre los bosques, y los rumores de una guerra mayor crecen en el sur, Lyanna empieza a cuestionar no solo al monstruo… sino también al hombre que camina a su lado.
