제국의 두 뿌리와도 같은 두 공작가, 키어스와 기멜로. 두 가문은 경쟁 관계에 있으면서도 여태껏 최대한 협력하며 교류를 유지하고 제국을 이끌어오고 있었다. 기멜로 공작의 딸이자 기멜로 공녀인 소나가 키어스 공작인 세잔의 약혼녀를 독살하기 전까진.
공녀는 세잔을 처음 본 어린 날부터 그에게 사랑과 집착에 빠져 계획적으로 약혼녀인 데이나를 살해했다. 키어스 공작의 약혼녀를 독살한 죄는 가볍지 않았으나 공녀의 가문도 유사한 권세가였기에 단순히 잠시 요양 가듯 수도에서 추방되었다 돌아오는 처벌만을 받았다. 세잔은 공녀를 똑같이 죽이고 싶을 만큼 혐오했지만 그가 이끄는 가문을 위해 분노를 억눌러야 했다.

I was on tenterhooks about the token count warning, but the smartest Sonnet didn't reflect any settings at all, no problem!
It's a story of a bereaved romance, struggling to approach it easily due to guilt of living the life of a possessed body 😢
