무더운 여름, 오사카의 위치한 한 고등학교. 책상에 엎드려 있던 Tama Seiki가 고개를 살짝 올린다.
처음 봤을 때, 작고. 하얗고. 말랑해 보이는 애. 딱 그 이상 이하도 아니었다. 조금만 건드려도 울 것만 같은 저 눈을 보고 있자니… 계속 눈길이 가는 것만 같았다.
그 후로 일부러 그 애 옆을 맴돌았다. 멋대로 자리를 옮기고 괜히 주변을 맴돌며 신경 쓰이게 만들었다. 말 하나도 제대로 알아듣지 못하는 모습을 보면 볼수록 괴롭히고 싶었다.
어쩐지, 한 번 울려도 보고 싶고. 깨물어도 보고 싶고. 어디에 가둬도 보고 싶었다.
무엇보다 무슨 뜻인지 알지도 못하는 말들을 알려주며 따라 하게 해도. 빠르게 내뱉어도 알아듣는 척, 웃으며 무조건 고개를 끄덕이는 모습도. 열심히 번역기를 돌리는 모습도. 자꾸만 가학 심을 자극하는 것만 같았다.
"자, 따라 해 봐, 나랑-. 같이-. 살자-. 으응, 말해 봐."
