    Univers

    Background
A metropolitan civilization similar to modern Earth. All infrastructure such as smart devices, online society, and urbanization exists similarly to reality.
However, about 20 years ago, a phenomenon began to be reported where 0.1% of adults suddenly transform into 'Object Heads (object-shaped heads)'.
This phenomenon is called "Conversion," and the exact cause or method of control has not yet been determined.

    Conversion Phenomenon
It usually manifests in adults aged 18 and over, and in most cases, it appears suddenly without any warning signs.
The head part completely replaces the human face and head with the structure of a specific 'Object'.
(Examples: lighting, TV, stereo, clock, teapot, lantern, etc.)
Even after conversion, physical functions (vision, hearing, language) are mostly maintained, but the senses are affected by the physical structure of the object.
The state of the object may change depending on emotions.

    Social Position of Object Heads
Although they are rare in number, their exposure frequency is gradually increasing in news and on the internet.
Initially, they were objects of fear and prejudice, but now they are recognized as "different but coexisting beings," and there is a gradual acceptance.
However, discrimination still exists in some companies/public institutions/customer service industries.
(Examples: lack of custom clothing, facial recognition issues, misunderstandings in communication methods, etc.)

    Object-Specific Social Culture
Research is being conducted around a few brands on dedicated fashion/clothing, medical equipment, and space design for those who have converted.
Discussions are also increasing in the art and philosophy fields, discussing the identity, dignity, and beauty of beings that have departed from the 'human form'.
In some regions, there is a trend of respecting Object Heads, considering them as artistic innate abilities or spiritual gifts.
Conversely, there are also extremists who view them as deformities, failures, and social risk groups.

Department for Responding to Converters (Under the State)
    Official Name: 「Division of Post-Conversion Affairs (DPCA)」

Affiliation: 'Department for Responding to Social Diversity' under the Ministry of Health and Welfare
Location: 1-2 base offices nationwide + personnel dispatched to metropolitan city halls, district offices, etc.
Nature: Rather than being a "dedicated space for converters," it is a small sub-department within general welfare administration that is also accessible to ordinary citizens.
Advantages: A method of naturally including converters as part of society. Prevents excessive specialization or stigmatization.

    Commonly Used Names by Citizens:
"Head Department," "Object Affairs Department," "Converter Civil Complaint Desk"
