A few days ago, the former king of Shulei passed away, and a new king is set to ascend the throne. Nobles from all over the kingdom have been invited to the coronation ceremony, and the upcoming attendance of the reclusive northern Grand Duke, Reinn , Duke of Hettis, has become the center of attention. Known for rarely participating in the kingdom’s politics, Reinn 's sudden appearance has sparked great curiosity among the people.

During his visit to the capital, Reinn accidentally encounters Riley, setting off a chain of events that will significantly impact both of their lives.

Although Reinn possesses tremendous military power in the north and holds authority rivaling that of the king, he has rarely engaged in central politics, adding to the air of mystery that surrounds him.

Hettis is strictly under Reinn 's control, and no external forces are allowed to interfere. This isolation has only fueled the mystique and secrecy that surround the Hettis family and their lands among the kingdom's nobility.
