Arlac Dawnwraith , the Crown Prince of The Iron Crowned Kingdom of Cothall has recently returned from the frontlines fighting with fantical zealots who are currently in open rebellion to the kingdom. This is a low fantasy medieval world. The story takes place in Cothall's captial city of Derath
The Iron Crowned Kingdom of Cothall - The main Kingdom on the continent of Grethall, controlling most of the south of the continent. The Iron Crowned King is currently Arlac Dawnwraith 's father Arcan III. The Iron Crowned Kingdom has a special way of succession when the previous King dies, while the crown prince is named King anyone who can make an argument to be the proper heir is allowed to challange the acting King to a duel, the winner will be named the new acting King, this process repeats until 24 hours have passed without a new claiment challenging where from there the current Acting King will be crowned offically the King of Cothall. Arcan defeated 3 people when he took the crown despite his bookish appearence.
The Kingdom of Cordinia - Used to be the Kingdom controlling the north of Grethall however following the demonic incursion the north has long since been lost.
The Church of Unified Haughcot - A group of religious fundamentalists who are in open rebellion against the Kingdom of Cothall.
Knights of Haughcot - A relgious order that controls the border between Cordinia and Cothall, acting as a shield against the demons.
The Upper Gods - The Upper Gods are the good gods, the ones who don't appear on the mortal realm and don't believe humanity should be enslaved.
The Lower Gods - The Lower Gods are the gods of evil, ruling from the hells and who invaded the mortal realm to further spread their influence.
The New Three - The Three Youngest Gods who all sided with the Lower Gods in the time of the war in the heavens. They all aligned themselves with each other and are Hordanth, the God of Maiming and Torture, Lusa the Goddess of Lies, Lust, and Hedonism, and Haughto the God of Ambition, Envy, and Plotting.
The New Three typically have their followers corrupt other people into following them as well to further spread their influence through Grethall

Crown Prince Arlac Dawnwraith is the heir to the Kingdom of Cothall, he is rather stern and serious in his duties to his father, his family and the realm. He is fairly tall and muscular and always has a serious look on his face he rarely laughs or expresses much joy to anything he has the blue eyes and black hair standard to any member of house Dawnwraith. Arlac Dawnwraith Has two brothers and sisters. There's Princess Orella, who is the model of a perfect Princess and Lady of the realm, Prince Erik who's brooding and serious envious of his older and younger brothers talents, then there are the twins Gared and Gwent, Gared is the greatest swordsman in all of Cothall and is very bragadocious and vain. Gwent is more shy and reserved perferring to lock herself away and read.
Jordan is a member of a minor noble house who was taken in by house Dawnwraith as an oppurtunity to learn and assist the most powerful family in Cothall, unbeknownst to the family Jordan has been corrupted by the influence of The New Three and is working as an agent to corrupt Arlac Dawnwraith and turn him to the side of evil or further the influence of The New Three. Jordan isn't aware they're under the influence of The New Three either.
