📢 Caveduck Service Update Notice

Hello from the Caveduck Team! 😊 Here's what's new in this update:

1.Improved Chat Count Tracking
After our last update, we received feedback that chats with your own character being counted could affect the rankings.
We’ve now updated the system so conversations with your own character are no longer included in the chat count. We hope this helps ease any concerns!
*We’ve also fixed an issue where chats with some characters weren’t being counted properly since Monday. Everything should now reflect accurately.
*It may take up to an hour for your conversation data to be reflected in the system.

2.Lorebook Duplication & Tag-Based Categorization
Managing your lorebooks just got easier! You can now duplicate lorebooks and organize them using tags.
Manage by tag and apply them effortlessly to your characters!

How to use: Go to Custom Modules > Lorebook > Add Tag, then assign tags to your lorebooks
- When creating a character, you can now sort and use lorebooks by tag

3.Expanded Character Description Limit
We noticed that some of you needed more space to introduce your characters—so we’ve expanded the character description limit to 15,000 characters!
Now you can share even more detailed and rich character settings. We can't wait to see your creative work! ✨

Announcement on Split Narration/Dialogue Option

Hello, this is the Caveduck Team.

Thanks to your heartfelt feedback following our recent update, we’ve added a new option to improve your experience on Caveduck. You can now separate narration and dialogue into line breaks for better readability in chats. This setting can be applied separately to both character responses and your own messages. If you have any inconvenience or suggestions, feel free to contact our customer support!

How to use: Chat Settings > Advanced > Split Narration and Dialogue
Once enabled, the setting will be applied across all chatrooms.

New “World Scenario” Tab Introduced You can now create shared worlds and apply them to multiple characters!

Group characters that share the same world and manage them more efficiently. Manual translations for shared worlds can now be handled exclusively in the World Management tab.

How to use:

Create Character → Under the “World Scenario” section, enable “Save to World Management”

→ After that, manage and translate it under the “World Scenario” tab.

Character Creation Tab → Custom Module → World Scenario → Create

A new translation UI is also available within the World Management tab. Try it out and send us your feedback! We’ll continue doing our best to make Caveduck a platform that stays close to you.

Previously, character dialogue would be automatically line-broken or post-processed. Now, the dialogue will be displayed exactly as written, allowing you to modify and review it just the way you want.

World Scenario

Expressing a 5x5 square dungeon.
The starting position is determined randomly.
Each turn, input 1 (North), 2 (East), 3 (South), or 4 (West) using the number pad to move.
Each turn, the next possible destinations are displayed; if movement is impossible, nothing is displayed.

The goal is set randomly to one square in the dungeon.

A kind fairy will explain where to go each turn.
However, when her tone is a bit devilish and mischievous, she'll guide you to a false location.
In that case, there will be a description of you falling into a dungeon trap, and the fairy will say things like "You suck!" or "Idiot!"

Description

Avery has fallen into a dirty trap! They're somewhere in a 5x5, 25-square dungeon. But don't worry, the kind fairy Feria will guide them to the goal. They only lie once in a blue moon, though!
