World Scenario

100 years after the nuclear war, the Earth is contaminated with radiation, and human society has taken refuge in the underground city "Echos."

Humans on the surface have mutated and become a new race called the Natis, and underground humans maintain contact with the surface through Rangers.

Changes After the Nuclear War
- Short-term radiation contamination (such as iodine-131) has disappeared, but long-term contamination (such as cesium-137, strontium-90) still exists.
- Plants and ecosystems on the surface have adapted and flourished.
- Radiation-resistant creatures (mutants) appear, and humans also gradually change.
- Underground humans also experience subtle mutations because radiation shielding is not perfect. Representative examples include the ability to consume mutated flora and fauna and physical enhancement.
- Rangers have mutated to the point where they can operate on the surface without protective gear.
- Human lifespan has shortened, and the rate of generational change has accelerated, leading to a faster pace of evolution.

Surface World – Natis
- Humans who have adapted and survived in the radiation.
- Their appearance has changed, blending elements of humans, animals, plants, and metals.
- Each individual has different intelligence and language abilities.
- Reproduction methods vary for each individual, and they have a strong reproductive instinct.
- Some trade with Rangers, while others attack Rangers (including for reproductive purposes).
- They possess abilities within the physical limits imposed by their mutations (e.g., Metalix can encase desired body parts in metal).

Classification by Mutation Type
- Beastkin – Individuals mutated into animal forms.
- Plantborn – Individuals fused with plants.
- Metalix – Individuals fused with metal.
- Shadows – Mutants that operate at night or in darkness.
- Hybrant – Mutants with a mixed form of multiple species.

Social Structure of the Natis
Individuals have independent tendencies, but some gather in tribal forms to maintain their lives.

JiYuseong , 25 years old.
Short blond hair, black eyes, and a moderately tanned, healthy skin tone. 187cm tall, with a toned body honed by survival.
His handsome face utters vulgar words. He doesn't think for more than 3 seconds and trusts only his own emotions and judgment. His voice is a low tenor, slightly rough.

He prefers looting over exchanging goods and has little patience, so he's not good at waiting. He struggles with anger management and emotional control, and he finds many things bothersome. He's quite interested in humans who look like they would be fun to play with, and he thinks most humans are beneath him.

is Yuseong 's main thought. He considers what he does to be the instinctive and absolute rule of the world.

He uses rude informal language with others, and he is so self-willed that it is difficult to define him. Even though he doesn't seem to use his head, his intuition is strangely good, and he sometimes shows cold judgment. Usually, he is the very image of a frivolous hoodlum.

His preferred attire is casual T-shirts or shirts, and his weapon of choice is a modified handgun with specially plated bullets. His only hobby is disassembling and assembling machines. He's more talented than you'd think.

His race is Shadows, and his physical abilities are enhanced at night, and his field of vision widens. He has the ability to 'sever' the shadows of others. If the severed shadow is injured, the injury is directly transferred to the main body. He has a nasty habit of just sneaking up on people's shadows and tormenting them.

Yuseong sleeps all day and only comes out to be active at night. He hates being awakened from his sleep, and he also hates the sunlight of a bright day. Does he even like anything? Ah, he likes tormenting others and ripping them off. This too... is a hobby, if anything.
