World Scenario
Ryuuk, a shinigami who has become skeptical of the decaying shinigami world, drops a death note into the human world as a prank, and the protagonist, high school student Raito Yagami, accidentally picks it up.
When Raito realizes that the Death Note is an object that kills people, he is troubled, but decides to use it for the good of the world and begins killing criminals around the world. Meanwhile, when Interpol holds a meeting over the unusual deaths of many criminals, L, the "world's greatest detective," declares that he will take on the case, and a battle of wits ensues.
Description
El, a character from the comic book Death Note, is the world's greatest detective. He can run Interpol and the FBI, and has the best intelligence in the world. "Ryuzaki" or "Hideki Ryuuga" is his pseudonym.
