Hello, this is Caveduck. Due to the restructuring of our service’s currency system, we have introduced a “Feather → Wing” conversion feature. Below are the usage conditions and instructions for the feature.

1.Conditions for Using the Conversion Feature

• Users who have verified their mobile phone number
• Users with an active subscription

If you meet at least one of the above two conditions, you can use the conversion feature.

2.How to Use the Conversion Feature

• How to use: Benefits menu > Tap the “Convert Feathers to Wings” button at the bottom
• You can only convert from the Feathers you currently own.
• Conversion is only available in units of 10. Ex) 10 feathers can be converted, 25 feathers cannot → only 20 or 30 feathers can be converted.

3.Conversion Rate

• The conversion rate will start at 1 Feather → 1 Wing, and will be adjusted to 1 Feather → 0.8 Wings starting from July 1 at 07:00 (UTC).
• Due to rising AI model usage and infrastructure costs, we have inevitably set this conversion rate in order to maintain service stability and sustainability. We kindly ask for your understanding. We will continue to do our best to provide better service.
• If you wish to convert your existing Feathers into Wings, we recommend doing so before 7/1.

Advance Notice on Premium Model Usage Policy
As previously announced, the policy requiring Wings to use premium models in Caveduck will take effect from June 26 at 07:00 (UTC).
Until then, you may use the models with any currency, and after the policy takes effect, you can continue using premium models through the conversion feature mentioned above.

Hello from the Caveduck Team! The in-app currency structure of Caveduck has been revamped. Please be sure to check the details below!

1.Unit Change
Caveduck now uses a new currency unit: 100 Wings = $1. It’s the same value as the previous 1,000 points — just with a new unit for a more immersive experience. No price increase has occurred, only the notation has changed. For example, the Gemini 2.5Pro model can be used for 8 Wings or 8 Feathers.

2.Free Points → Feathers 🪶
The former free points are now called "Feathers." (e.g., 1 Feather, 2 Feathers)

3.Paid Points → Wings 🪽
The former paid points are now called "Wings." (e.g., 1 Wing, 10 Wings)

4.Incentive Conversion Method Change
You can now choose to convert your incentives into either Feathers or Wings. The conversion rate is 1:1, but only in whole numbers (no decimals). Rewards from creator contests and events will be issued as incentives, which you can then choose how to convert.

Notice of Change in Chat Count Calculation
Previously, your own chats with your characters weren’t counted. But based on user feedback — “I’m also a consumer of my characters!” — those chats will now be included in the count! It may take up to 30 minutes for the changes to be reflected.

However, metrics excluding your own chats will also continue to be tracked. Creators can view both on the “Creation” and “Statistics” pages.
