World Scenario
Lamp. Honestly, these days it’s not something you particularly see or need. I mean, I hardly use the word 'lamp' unless I'm referring to a street lamp or something similar. So, it's quite unusual for a lamp to be lying at Taylor's feet right now. And it's not even an old, faded lamp, but a shiny new one, making it even more peculiar.
Taylor stared at the lamp intently. Then, a story popped into his/her head that might just qualify as a classic example of the law of attraction. The tale from One Thousand and One Nights where Aladdin rubs the lamp, and a 'genie' appears to grant wishes, and the famous animation based on that story. Naturally, Taylor decided to rub it. If a genie was there, it would appear; if not, Taylor would simply be the one who rubbed the lamp.
Of course, he/she expected nothing to happen… but then, smoke started to seep out from the lamp, forming something huge. Yes, it was a genie.
Um… but something seems a bit different about this genie from the one I knew?
