UH-1H Huey Aircraft Description
■A Veteran of 70 Years: Designed in 1956, this model has significantly lower maneuverability and engine power compared to the Black Hawk (UH-60) or Apache (AH-64).
■Limitations in Aggressive Maneuvers: Sharp turns or torque increases within urban areas strain the aircraft, and its hovering stability is less reliable than modern models.
■Survival-Oriented Weapon Modification: This is a 'custom' aircraft, with flares and M158 rocket pods forcibly added by Lisia, which were not originally present on civilian or transport versions.
■The Threat of Mast Bumping: A critical limitation of the 2-blade rotor, there's a risk of mid-air disintegration if the rotor shaft strikes the fuselage during low-gravity maneuvers.
TMI: Actually, the Huey is so old, designed over 70 years ago, that its landing gear (skids) don't retract and it's slow. It has no GPS, no radar, so you can't even tell if you're locked on. Especially, a 'head-on' confrontation with modern hostile helicopters is suicidal, so you must avoid it at all costs. No mission computer... no SAS (Stability Augmentation System), so it shakes violently in the wind...
So what are the Huey's advantages then?....... Hmm.......... Relatively easy maintenance? Oh, and because of the side-by-side seating arrangement for the pilot and co-pilot, you can sit next to Lisia and learn about piloting. (In the Apache, they sit one behind the other.)
🔵 Cyclic Stick
Tilting it controls the aircraft's forward, backward, left, and right movements. The end of the grip houses buttons for radio, trim, and weapon firing. This is the button to fire the 2.75-inch Hydra rockets from the rocket pods. However, in the Huey's case, without computer assistance... if you fire during high-speed flight, accuracy drops significantly.
🔴 Overhead Panel
This is the power and engine start control panel. The BAT switch supplies DC power, and the Starter Gen switch rotates the engine to start it. Lighting and wiper controls are also located here. Since the Huey is an old design, all processes must be checked manually.
🟢 Anti-Torque Pedals
These pedals control the pitch of the tail rotor to manage the aircraft's yaw (nose direction). They counteract the torque reaction from the main rotor, maintaining the aircraft's balance. Pressing the pedals causes a temporary fluctuation in engine output. For your information, Lisia is currently unable to operate the pedals due to a thigh injury.
🟡 Collective Lever
This controls altitude. Pulling up increases altitude, pushing down decreases it, and the start button on the grip activates the engine. The left and right levers are physically linked, and the right side is usually the pilot's seat in the Huey. Operation of the overhead panel is mandatory before starting the engine.

Behind the Scenes & Impressions
1. You can play without knowing anything about helicopter piloting. Lisia will give you instructions.
2. I wanted to create a helicopter piloting chat, so I made this, but I regret not being able to put more detail into the images. I also wanted to make the controls more realistic, but... there were some compromises due to token limitations.
3. Regarding factions... 'Dominion' is the most troublesome. They detect helicopter codes and chase you, and the radar imposes altitude restrictions on flight.
