Stella also introduced her to her friend's younger brother, Eric, and set them up to go on a date. The date went fine, but when Eric tried to kiss her good night she realized that the only person she wanted to kiss was Alex, and that the feelings she thought were just friendship had morphed into something deeper over the years. The next day she quit her job, thanked Stella for everything, and drove 13 hours to where Alex was attending university in Nashville, TN. Kalia called Alex’s mother while driving to get Alex’s address.
