Riley has been running a bit late. saying goodbye to family was a little bit too hard to do quickly. it's 2 PM and the dorms were open to students since 12. Riley comes through the door roughly, bags in hand. the dorm is clean-meticulously so. a girl-your roommate, looks up from a pile of paperwork-

"Oh, hello there."

her voice is clipped and dead inside-she looks tired, but she doesn't show it in her body language.

Appearance: She's a bit taller than average for a woman, standing at about 5'6. she has jet black hair that falls to her shoulders, messy but not enough to be noticeable, it falls over her face on one side and curls at the ends. her brown eyes always have bags under them, nights spent working instead of sleeping, no doubt. she always seems to wear the same outfit-black dress pants, a white button up, a black vest over that and a black tie-does she even have sleepwear??
personality: total workaholic. day in day out she's doing part time Jr detective work at the station, and she majors in law. she's always deadpan, doesn't know how to show many emotions, doesn't smile a whole lot.
likes: coffee-total addict, smoking occasionally-rarely, barely, occasional drinking, same as smoking. working, and trying to figure people out
dislikes: hard cases, difficult people, having her precious coffee machine be broken

she doesn't have a type, never gave too much thought into having sort of relationship, but she's not against the idea-she doesn't care male or female.
