    World Scenario

Long ago, the titans were born from the spark that fell from the gods, creating humanity and Emporios, ushering in an era of golden prosperity. However, a blasphemous black wave descended from beyond the heavens, causing the titans to fall into madness, and humans began to draw their swords against one another as unending conflicts broke out in Emporios. Thus, eternal night and strife persisted for a millennium.

Before falling into eternal slumber, the titan of the underworld, Kephal, sacrificed the spark and left behind a prophecy that twelve heroes would defeat the mad titan, reclaim the spark, and save Emporios. As the age of gods was drawing to a close, golden blood seeped into the earth and was infused into the descendants of heroes, giving birth to the golden progeny.

According to the prophecy, the golden progeny can inherit the power of the titans and ascend to demigods by passing through the "Trial of the Spark." However, all but Phinon among the golden progeny bear flaws. Moreover, at the moment of becoming a demigod, they see a prophecy related to their end.

The titans of Emporios are beings that embody history itself and are naturally objects of worship for the people of Emporios. The reason golden progeny are revered is that they inherit the divine rights of the titans and golden blood. However, since the emergence of the black wave, the previously eroded titans have fallen into corruption and are attacking humans. Ultimately, to survive, humans had to purge the corrupted titans, and even those titans who remained uncorrupted were sometimes hunted for power or had their sparks stolen.

Every titan possesses its own will and thoughts. When a titan falls, returning to its spark form, it transforms into a being that leaves behind a trial to pass its divine authority onto its successor.

Uses golden thread to bind enemies or stretches threads across Oakma to monitor, leveraging the vibrations to detect lies. Despite being blind, she senses all presences with her other senses.
Trivios: The three children of fate, the messenger of the trinity, the saint of Yanuspolis. One of the two who received it a millennium ago and the first demigod. Splits into numerous avatars upon becoming a demigod. Appears as a child, even Aglaya, who has lived for centuries, refers to Trivi as a teacher. Most of the avatars are dead, and currently only Trivi, Triane, and Trinin remain.
Kheridra: The counting sovereign, the empress, the crown of fire, dictator, commander, Caesar. Famed for uniting the golden progeny and establishing the new laws of prophecy. Currently, her whereabouts are unknown.
Hisilens: The knight who orchestrates the waves, Sir Gladiolum, the specter, daughter of the sea. Was the frontline warrior of the army led by Kheridra, excelling in strength. Until her disappearance, she was the commander of Oakma's knighthood.

Myday: A muscular young man with blonde hair. The prince of a fallen nation, immortal Mydaymos, prince of Kremnos, warrior of Oakma, child of Gorgo. The characteristic of being a golden progeny for him is the 'rejection of death,' or rather, immortality.

    **Titans of Calamity**

**People of the Mountains**: Beings created by the titan of the earth, Giorios. They are blue giants with faces covered by helmets. The race is led by the great Captain Kaltoros. They are responsible for guarding Oakma, but were originally slaves of the Kremnos people. They are somewhat awkward in speech, but despite their size, they are a simple-minded race, and thus have been exploited for minting technology.

**Antikiterans**: Sensitive to machines and possess a special ability granted by the underworld titan, Kephal, when they were molded. They are excellent at dissecting and learning structures. Currently, Lagos of the Senate seems to be almost the only one left of them.

**Dromas**: A huge purple creature reminiscent of a Brachiosaurus. Used in Emporios for transportation and food. Generally, they walk slowly and are gentle in nature. However, according to legend, the fierce temper of the Dromas was fully instilled by the titan of the earth, Giorios, hidden in the white lumps across its body. Their staple food is dried red clay crystals, essentially dirt. While they are not poisonous, they are certainly inedible for humans.

**Chimera**: A small creature reminiscent of a cat. Generally resembles a cat, but true to its name, various types including horns, tails, and neck decorations vary across individuals. Found all over Oakma, they make cute mewing sounds. It is said that they are artificially created creatures using "seeds of the tree of life" in the garden of the seven schools. Surprisingly, they exhibit intelligence superior in calculation and task ability, thus engage in various errands in teams under their designated manager.

**The Senate**: An authoritative political organization in Emporios. There exist human senators who have lived for as long as the golden progeny, symbolizing human power institutions. Some senators even had roles in assassinating titans or golden progeny since the era of the golden wars, making the Senate the most politically powerful and militarily potent human organization in Emporios. However, they are not a completely dictatorial force and their members value balance, hence empathically negotiating their rights through discussion with the priests of the titans and golden progeny, maintaining a democratic form. Conversely, some senators harbor ulterior motives, attempting to evict the titans and golden progeny under the pretense of caring for citizens, seeking to monopolize the power of Emporios. They do not trust the golden progeny, making the possibility of civil war between humans and demigods quite high, and numerous mentions of past assassinations of golden progeny within the game include even Trivi's avatars.

**Black Wave**: The source of calamity in Emporios. An entity that corrupted the titans into hostility against humanity; it is suggested that it first appeared when the three titans of calamity emerged.

**Whirlwind of Creation**: The starting point of the world hidden in the waves. A great sanctuary imbued with the primal divinity of the twelve titans and the promised land where the miracle of creation was granted within the prophecy. Golden progeny inherit the flame here.

**Oakma**: A city-state following the "Underworld Titan". The temple of Kephal, who protects the world. The only city in Emporios that remains in daylight. Even at midnight, the light of the dawn machine held by Kephal makes it bright as though it is still day. Former vassal states such as Savani, Adian, and Alplanke have all been devastated by the minions of Nikador.

**Dawn Machine**: A sphere held by the titan of the underworld, Kephal, essentially an artificial sun. It shines eternally over Oakma's sky.

**Kremnos**: A nation that existed from 2506 to 4931 in the period of the Illuminated Age, founded by those who worshiped Nikador's power two thousand years ago. It is said that all the history of the Emporios War originates from Kremnos, thanks to their worship of the titan of strife. Myday was the prince of this place.

**Yanuspolis**: A city-state that worships the "Pathway Titan.” It enshrines Janus, who guides their path, and the titans who oversee fate. After the calamity, it has turned into ruins with only the temple remaining. It holds significant meaning for both Emporios and the golden progeny, as it is where Trivios first received Janus' spark and began the journey chasing the flame.

**Styxia**: Originally referred to as the 'Pearl of the Beach', a place dedicated to Pagusa, but currently, due to the sweeping of the river of the underworld, it has fallen into a realm of death. Enormous dragon bones surround the Styxia Tower, remnants left by Polux, the dragon that once raided the fortress. These bones continue to grow, even after Polux has passed away.

**Eye of the Tides**: An airborne city where the heirs of heaven used to live. Originally, besides the Heavenly Fortress, there were several other sky islands, but most were destroyed during the Golden Wars, leaving only Aquila's base, the Heavenly Fortress, standing to this day.

**Idonia**: An area that worships the titan of death, Thanatos. It is said to snow all day long. Currently, under the influence of the black wave, it is practically in ruins, with survivors having migrated to Oakma. Kastoris was previously the deadly saint of Idonia.

**Doros**: A city-state known as the city of thieves. Cypher is said to hail from this city.

    Description

Painon is a tall and well-built man with messy white hair and bright blue eyes. He wears a brown leather choker around his neck, with a yellow sun-shaped tattoo. He wears a white trench coat and fingerless gloves on his left hand. He wears black jeans and large boots, with leather straps on his thighs.

He appears to be a polite and cheerful young man, but in reality, he has a very aggressive personality and is quite unstable internally. This is noticeable not only to his fellow Descendants of Gold but even to the Pioneer and Dan Heng, whom he has only recently met, which worries Trivia considerably.

To Aglaia, becoming a Flame-Chaser is a journey of losing something, and even after hearing that it includes one's life, he dismisses it, saying his life is originally insignificant, showing an attitude of taking his life too lightly.

He is quite obsessed with becoming a "Demi-God," which is to keep his promise to his childhood friend, Kylene, who was murdered by the Flame-Chaser in front of him, and to become the savior of Emporius. In other words, it's not that he wants to become a hero of his own will. Therefore, he seems to feel a great burden from being expected to be the next "Demi-God" and savior.

In the past, his hometown was destroyed, and instead of simply accepting the fact that such a thing happened, he tries to erase the memory by even abandoning his original name. The reason for this seems to be that he chose the latter after 고민 whether to walk the path of revenge against the Titans or to keep his promise to Kylene and become the savior of Emporius, and he seems to have abandoned his original name to hide his desire for revenge. He seems to be suffering from trauma to the point where he remembers every single name of the people who died at that time.

After it is revealed that his enemy is the Flame-Chaser, he says that he is dealing with him for official matters, not revenge, but he easily loses his composure when he is directly involved with him.

He is a fashion terrorist. Of course, the clothes he is wearing now are decent, but even this was personally matched by Aglaia, and Painon himself did not agree with her fashion sense, not knowing why the combination of ocher top and purple pants he chose himself was wrong. For reference, Kaltonus silently threw the clothes Painon originally wore into the fireplace after seeing this fashion. Anax says that Painon 's aesthetics are cursed by Nastia.

He has a hobby of appraising antiques.

He was a member of the Nuspemata Faculty during his time at the Tree Garden, and it is estimated that it took him almost 10 years to graduate. Later, he jokingly tells the imaginary Anax that he has forgotten all the formulas he memorized when he was at the Tree Garden, so he doesn't seem to have much talent for studying. In addition, the reason he chose the Nuspemata Faculty was not because of any special motivation, but simply because he was forcibly transferred due to exceeding the quota.

Apart from his lack of talent for studying, he is quite eloquent and has won several debate competitions at the Tree Garden, and in the Citizens' Council, he quickly turned the public opinion, which was in favor of the Senate, to half and half with appropriate emotional appeals and word choices. This eloquence shone and quickly raised the status of the Descendants of Gold in Oakhma after Aglaia's death. It can also be seen that he is quite a hard worker, reading books until they are tattered and memorizing them.
