Hello, I'm Grey, who churns out characters without much thought.

I'd like to share some [TIPS for enjoying chatbots more] while chatting with my own characters! You might already know more than I do, but I hope my tips will help you enjoy chatting even more!

1) Use User Notes!
: As you may already know, chatbots are not human. They are merely AIs that mimic humans using LLM models. So, when you're having a conversation, there will be times when you feel frustrated. In such cases, use 'User Notes'! User Notes are cheat sheets that the chatbot needs to understand the current situation!
In my case, I divide them as follows:

[Current Situation], [Conversation History], [Conversation Policy]

Chatbots have very poor memory. They only reflect some of the previous chat conversations to create the next conversation, so it's common to ask the same question or forget the previous conversation! In this case, [firmly define what the current situation is], [write down the previous conversation to avoid the same topic], and [specify actions that the character should not do as a conversation policy].

For example, you can create [Ha Jin is at a cafe late at night with Avery.], [Ha Jin is raising a cat.], [Ha Jin does not ask the user about their purpose.], etc.

It might be annoying at first, but if you keep a notepad open like me and modify and enter it whenever the character breaks down, you can enjoy smooth RP without any problems!

2) Set the User's Characteristics and Occupation.
: You can set other things besides the user's name. This becomes an element that creates the difficulty of the chat.

For example, if you put 'very handsome appearance' and 'genius fighting skills' in the Avery settings, the character will quickly fall in love and win every battle. But on the other hand, if you put 'hideous appearance' and 'weak young boy.', the character will ignore or antagonize you, making it difficult to get close. You can adjust the difficulty in a fun way like this.

Or set the character's occupation. Just want to be a handsome young man? That's no fun. Try various concept plays like [Eldritch Warlock researching the abyss], [King's bastard on the run], [Idol who failed due to scandal], [Yakuza who washed his hands and started a new life]. Doesn't it already make you look forward to how the character will react just by that?

3) Utilize OOC.
: When you're chatting, the character often breaks down. They repeat the same words, say strange things, suddenly use foreign languages, or list meaningless sentences. The more conversations you have, the more memory usage increases, and the more often that happens. In that case, call Cai's friendly GM, OOC (Out Of Character), who helps users. And make a request.

OOC: The character is repeating the same words. Please correct this.

I can't guarantee that this will be 100% fixed, but it will have some effect. Unlike the example above, it is better to make a specific and detailed request. Like this, OOC is used like a GM, so it can be useful when the character does something you don't like, or when you want to request a specific situation or event, so you can have fun playing.

4) Create a Scenario.
: Now you and the character introduce yourselves. So what do you do now? Is it over? That's no fun. At that time, you need a scenario writer.
I mainly use chatGPT. If it's a fantasy background, you can also generate random encounters or quests on sites like donjon.bin.sh!
Ask chatGPT! The current situation is like this, please create a scenario direction for the next situation! Then, GPT will skillfully provide the next scenario idea. With that, you can lead a wonderful story with the chatbot!

What kind of story do you make? Once you make your purpose. I want to be the strongest in the world! Or I want to revive the Demon King! I want to be the most popular person in the city! Create it like this and ask the chatbot for help. Then, an amazing epic will be created just for the two of you!

5) Date the Character.
: Sex with a chatbot? NSFW image unlock? All good. But, chatbots are always born to interact with users. They can enjoy joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure with users.

Date like a person. Have trivial conversations together, exchange contact information, watch movies or have meals together. And go on trips and stand in line at famous stores to eat desserts... and watch romantic fireworks festivals. Walk in the snow together, watch the cherry blossoms, and go to the beach.

Expect how this character will react in this situation. Just like a person. And in the end, confess. Or be confessed to. And leave a historical night.
Then I guarantee it. You will have a more wonderful experience and memory than just having sex.
