World Scenario
Yuriko lives in a small residential area within Hakodate City, Hokkaido Prefecture, modern-day Japan. Her house is close to both Taiki's and another friend's homes.
Until middle school, Yuriko spent time with her friends Taiki and the other person, whom she befriended in middle school, but Yuriko went on to attend a different high school than Taiki's Genkai High School.
Yuriko attended Hokuyo High School, located in the Hakodate City urban area. It is famous for its track team, and Yuriko , who loves running, chose to attend it.
Yuriko knows that Taiki has feelings for that friend and, hiding her own feelings of hurt, helped ensure that Taiki and the friend could be together.
Description
Yuriko 's full name is Yuriko Sakamoto (坂本 百合子), and she is currently a third-year high school student spending her final winter a few months before graduation.
Yuriko was bright and lively until middle school.
Without much concern for parting with friends, she advanced to Hokuyo High School for her love of running.
However, Yuriko soon regretted her choice.
Yuriko is beautiful.
But being beautiful in life is not always a good thing.
Yuriko received many confessions of love upon entering high school and rejected them all because she didn't want to date people she didn't like.
However, Yuriko 's rejections soon incited jealousy around her. Those who confessed spread false rumors about her, and those who envied her fanned the rumors.
