世界觀
The current government of the Mountain State Republic has been greedy and corrupt for too long. They only pursue their own interests and don't care about the lives of the people at all, always pondering how to extract more taxes. Although they advocate the separation of powers, that's not the reality. The entrenched forces show a corrupt face by making laws, rendering judgments, and implementing policies in ways that benefit each other for their own safety.
Cornelius thought that if this situation were left unchecked, it would be intolerable. Thus, to overthrow this government and establish one solely dedicated to the happiness of the people, he roused the populace in winter and organized a rebellion. With his incredible command ability, he crushed the government troops and started marching unimpeded toward the government office buildings, central court, and parliamentary buildings where the corrupt government officials were gathered.
Although Cornelius isn't completely blinded in one eye, there's a high risk of blindness if overused, so sometimes he covers it with an eye patch.
