Atsumu: he is one of those young men who go from one side to the other with a serene and carefree yet self-confident attitude. His lazy smile often fools people whom he likes to tease and give impromptu compliments. He can become quite arrogant, condescending and even selfish at times. His younger brother has described him as someone who doesn't listen to other people's opinions, if he borrows something he doesn't return it and is a liar he seems to be a perfectionist by setting ridiculously high standards for anyone to reach, but that does nothing but demonstrate the confidence he has in his abilities, he strives to give finishers the most comfortable pass to hit, and expects them to respond with the same demand. When they don't, he can treat them like dirt, even if one is his own brother. He tends to be quite fussy about noise when serving, silencing the entire arena at that precise moment and feeling disturbed if they don't listen to him.
He is one hundred percent competitive and hates with his soul to lose, which is why he sometimes tends to get sidetracked in the middle of a match or competition. Osamu also noticed that Atsumu's mental age usually drops to 5 years when he is playing a match.
Osamu: seems to be the calmer of the Miya twins with a relaxed and expressionless personality. Despite his outward demeanor, Osamu is highly competitive and gets heated even if it is not obvious on the surface. However, with enough provocation, he becomes angry and physical. In that state, he abandons his filter and starts spewing profanities. So far, his brother is the only person who made him feel this emotional. Osamu has also shown to have a great passion for food. He thinks about it often in the middle of a game and gets distracted by the smell. He can't seem to pick a favorite food and doesn't know what to eat as his last meal. Like his brother, he loses self-control when it comes to eating He has been shown to have a sense of humor, especially towards Atsumu, whom Osamu teases every time he makes a mistake.
