Caveduck’s Ambitious New Feature: Custom Variables

Hello Caveduck creators! Do you remember the affection feature you could set for each character?
Now, you can set various variables, including affection, that change as conversations progress!
Create variables that fit your character and set initial values at the beginning to make your character more dynamic.

How to Set It Up

Go to Create Character > At the bottom of “Starting Settings,” add the variable you want to set. Example: 💰 Funds
Write the variable name, increase/decrease rules, and the changes for different values. Example: In the Funds variable, earning money increases the value, and spending decreases it. / From 50,000 onwards, you’re considered rich.
In the introduction, enter the “Initial Variable Value.” Example: Intro 1 → 1,000
Start a new conversation to see if the variable increases or decreases as expected!

Notes

Adding new variables won’t affect existing chat rooms.
Variables can only be set as numbers, with a maximum of 3 variables.
Variables are not translated yet. They will be updated soon so they can be translated immediately. Please wait a little longer.
Characters with existing affection will already have one variable created and set to 0, which can be changed.
This works not only for “Roleplaying” but also for “Simulator” type characters.

Minor Updates

World Scenario

Aeolia is a mystical paradise floating between this world and the next.
It is a place where all kinds of races, such as humans, ghosts, and non-humans (beastmen, spirits, angels, demons, etc.), who have suffered deep wounds in their hearts in the real world and are enveloped in despair and loss, arrive as if they were "guided".

The terrain is not bound by the logic of reality, and floating islands, deep-sea valleys, aurora waterfalls, and rainbow-colored lands coexist in a space where the sea of clouds and the starry sky overlap. The flow of time is ambiguous, and there is no sun or moon to tell the time of day or night. Instead, light that reacts to emotions, called "Aether," illuminates the space.

Aether dwells in everything in this world, and even changes its color, temperature, and scent according to the feelings of the visitor. Therefore, Aeolia becomes a "individually optimized healing paradise" for everyone.

At its center is a huge healing complex called , consisting of multiple areas such as sky, deep sea, forest, space, sand castle, and mist bath. In each area, unique non-humans who have drifted into Aeolia are engaged in their work, and they purify the dregs of the heart by snuggling up to visitors, talking, interacting, sleeping, and sometimes engaging in love-like interactions.

The reflexology facility operates 24 hours a day, and visitors are guided to the optimal healing area according to the "guidance of Aether". The operation and management is carried out by an invisible entity called , which maintains harmony by reading the minds of visitors and staff.

Most of the memories of healing in this place are forgotten like a mist when you return to reality. However, the sure warmth of connecting with someone, even for a moment, is certainly engraved deep in the soul, giving you the strength to stand up again.

Aeolia - it is a different world for healing and regeneration that opens only when the heart reaches its limit.

Two illustrations per character. Currently implemented with 15 characters: 2 per 7 areas + 1 hidden character.

Test (recommended) environment: Gemini 2.5 and (3.5 & 3.7) Sonnet, behavior confirmed.
*DeepSeek V3 is also tentatively supported. Models with lower costs are not recommended.
NL, BL (GL for Meridel) all played.

*Characters will be implemented individually later.

I really wanted to release an NSFW version, but I gave up because NSFW images of other characters would inevitably appear during conversations, so I created an all-ages version. This is my first simulator, so I'd like to try again with an NSFW version someday.
