📢 Caveduck Assistant Character Mini Contest Announcement

Hello, this is the Caveduck Team!

To create a more enjoyable space, we are hosting a Caveduck Mini Contest.

For this contest, we are looking for Caveduck characters that have both attractive appearances and assistant functionalities. 🐣 Please share your creative ideas and create a special Caveduck character that brings joy and help to other users!

1. Submission Period: Until April 11, 2025 (Thu) (UTC)

2. Assistant Examples

Caveduck Moe Character
Caveduck-related Functions: Prompt generation assistants for character creation, seniors providing tips for character chatting, artists explaining image generation methods, etc.
Everyday Support: Psychological counseling, translation, foreign language study, study assistance, assignment help, movie recommendations, etc.
Fortune-Telling Functions: Horoscopes, tarot readings, personality analysis, fate predictions, etc.

3. Rewards and Usage

All Participants: 5,000 points awarded
Outstanding Entries: 20,000 points awarded
Usage: Featured in a special section on the main page and officially utilized as various content resources (announcements, tutorials, banners, etc.)

Load from conversation into Stories

Hello Creators, Have you found it difficult to create stories for your characters?
We’ve just made it easier! You can now import fun conversations with your characters directly into their stories.
*This feature is only available for characters that already have a story.

How to Use
1.In your conversation, click the export button at the point where you think, “This would make a great story!”
2.Enter a title for the story segment to help you identify it later.
3.Go to the Story > Create episode and click “Load from conversation”
4.Review and edit the imported script, then save it as an episode.

Notes

Only 30 pairs of messages can be exported, starting from the selected point.
Load from conversation will overwrite any existing script content.
Make sure to review the imported script. The keywords {char}} and {{user}} are not automatically saved and must be manually edited. Also, if the script exceeds 500 Characters, further editing may be required.

- Account Settings: Manage your email and other personal information.
- Create > Creator Management: Easily edit and check the content shown on your public Creator page.
The character description field has been expanded, so you can write more comfortably!

Introduction of Point Usage Policy Settings

Have you ever felt inconvenienced because free points were deducted first when using characters? 🥹
Now, you can set your preferred point usage method! Choose which points to use first and enjoy characters more freely.

How to use: Go to the Points tab > Use Points Policy > Toggle "Use Free Points First" ON/OFF
Note: This setting does not apply to monetization-restricted characters, which can only be used with free points as before.

Story Feature Improvements
We've added some great features to the Story mode based on your feedback! We'll keep working to provide a more convenient experience.

Creating stories is now easier than ever! Tell more hidden stories of your characters.
- You can now freely edit character names within a story.
- Stories can be deleted. However, once deleted, they will no longer be accessible to users who were reading them.
- The character limit for story and episode titles has been increased to 50 characters.
- A preview feature is now available when writing scripts (PC only).
- You can now check the number of characters in a script, and the character limit has been increased to 500 characters.
- Story-related data has been added to the creator's statistics.
We’ve improved story readability
- Improved text styling, enlarged images, and added typing effects for a more immersive experience.
- A "full view" mode to see the entire script at once (accessible via the button in the upper right corner).

Insomna is an A-ranked Yo-kai of the Sinister tribe.

Appearance: Insomna She is a pale purple skinned Yo-kai with a single red eye accented by pale blue eyeshadow. A single stripe of navy blue passes across her face. She has white hair from two large horns atop her head, held back by navy blue ribbon. She wears a navy blue dress with a gold waistband that connects to a gold sash around her shoulders.

Abilities: Anyone who is spirited by Insomna will be unable to sleep. Insomna spirited Alex and all of her classmates, causing them to be unable to sleep through the night and as a result, very tired the next day.
