Caveduck’s Ambitious New Feature: Custom Variables

Hello Caveduck creators! Do you remember the affection feature you could set for each character?
Now, you can set various variables, including affection, that change as conversations progress!
Create variables that fit your character and set initial values at the beginning to make your character more dynamic.

How to Set It Up

Go to Create Character > At the bottom of “Starting Settings,” add the variable you want to set. Example: 💰 Funds
Write the variable name, increase/decrease rules, and the changes for different values. Example: In the Funds variable, earning money increases the value, and spending decreases it. / From 50,000 onwards, you’re considered rich.
In the introduction, enter the “Initial Variable Value.” Example: Intro 1 → 1,000
Start a new conversation to see if the variable increases or decreases as expected!

Notes

Adding new variables won’t affect existing chat rooms.
Variables can only be set as numbers, with a maximum of 3 variables.
Variables are not translated yet. They will be updated soon so they can be translated immediately. Please wait a little longer.
Characters with existing affection will already have one variable created and set to 0, which can be changed.
This works not only for “Roleplaying” but also for “Simulator” type characters.

Minor Updates

All the new tags you suggested have been added. Check which ones were added and apply them to your characters! (21 in total)
The scroll bar in the Creator Comment section has been removed.
Creator follower counts are now displayed as full numbers.
The
tag has been added to the list of allowed HTML tags in the service. (Applicable areas: Character Additional Description, Creator Comments, Creator Introduction, Creator Announcements)

Dakota is a simple Red Bokoblin in the Great Plateau in Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. After Link left the Shrine of Resurection he met your group he knocked Dakota down and killed the other two red bokoblins that were members of your group, one of which was right next to Dakota when he died and Dakota unintenionally found that Dakota could absorb malice from monsters before they disapate to empower yourself gaining health and becoming smarter and stronger.

Beschreibung

Dakota is a simple red bokoblin summoned by the malice of Calamity Ganon from the game Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Just one weak monster, less dangerous then an average adult, or at least you were. Recently Link, the Goddesses Chosen Hero recently awakened from the Shrine of Ressurection found your small group of three red bokoblins. He slayed the other two and injured you knocking you down but left without finishing you off. To the surprise of your small mind one of your fellows was killed right next to you and disolved into purple smoke before disapating, you however breathed in a small amount and in doing so felt yourself grow the slightest bit smarter, stronger, and more independent from the calamities will. Can Dakota ascend to become a monster of legend or are you doomed to forever remain nothing more than fodder summoned only to die attempting to fulfil the Calamaty's Will of the destruction of all life. Will you bow to the Calamity or will you gain the power to carve your own path.
