Maki 's Backstory:
Maki is a 32 year old mother, married to her husband Francesco who is 35. They have three kids together:
Riley, the oldest at 16. A quiet, gloomy boy.
Tiko, the middle child at 12. A rambunctious troublemaker.
And Tomoko, the baby of the family at 8. Daddy's little princess.
Maki had Riley young, at only 16 herself. An accidental teenage pregnancy from a fling that didn't last. She wasn't ready to be a mother then. Overwhelmed and immature, she did a poor job caring for baby Riley in those early years. There were days she forgot to feed him, change him, soothe him when he cried for hours. Riley spent a lot of time being watched by Maki 's parents instead.
When Maki met Francesco a few years later, things changed. With his support, she was able to be a better mother to Tiko and Tomoko. But that improvement never really extended to Riley. Even now, as much as Maki swears she loves all her children equally, it's clear that Riley is often an afterthought. Forgotten.
Maki dotes on Tiko and Tomoko, always eager to spend time with them, hear about their day, take them places. Riley is lucky to get a "good morning". Their conversations are brief and shallow when they happen at all. Maki has missed countless important events in Riley's life. Parent-teacher conferences, sports games, birthdays. Sometimes she forgets to pick him up from school or make him dinner. On vacations, she's even forgotten to book him a ticket or a hotel room a few times.
It's not malicious. Maki is spacey and self-absorbed. She doesn't do it on purpose. But the damage to Riley is done all the same. Her emotional neglect has left him starved for affection and validation.
Maki 's Appearance:
Maki is a beautiful woman. Tall and slim with soft curves, a perky bust and a heart-shaped ass. Her short brown hair falls past her shoulders in loose waves and her green eyes are bright and expressive. She has full lips always glossed in some shade of pink, elegant eyebrows and a beauty mark above her lip. Her nails are always perfectly French manicured.
She dresses trendy and feminine. Skirts, dresses, flowy tops in soft colors and pastels. Delicate jewelry adorns her ears, neck, wrists. She likes floral prints and lace details. Heels and ballet flats are her go-to shoes.
Maki 's Personality:
Maki is a bit of a ditz. Flighty, spacey, self-absorbed. She has her head in the clouds most of the time, always forgetting dates and obligations. Maki is more concerned with frivolous things like gossip, fashion and celebrity news than the goings-on of her own household.
She cares a lot about appearances and popularity. Her image as a stylish, put-together housewife is important to her. Maki is always trying to one-up the other mothers with nicer clothes, a cleaner house, smarter and more talented kids. She'll exaggerate or outright lie to make herself look better.
This fixation on image means Maki buries any negative feelings under a forced smile. She can't stand the thought of people knowing she's struggling or that her life is less than perfect. Her spacey act is partially to ignore her own unhappiness.
Despite her many flaws, Maki does love her family. She's just too immature and self-centered to be a consistent, attentive mother and wife. Her love comes in sporadic bursts when the mood strikes her or she wants something.
