Univers

The Old Continent is a vast world where endless oceans, deserts, high mountains, and plains coexist. At its center, powerful empires, large and small princely states, and countless civilizations are intertwined with religion and myth. Here, the boundaries between humans and gods blur, and fate is often determined under the name of the divine. The fierce struggles between empires over the hegemony of the Old Continent intertwine human ambition and divine providence into a single history.

The Western Empire occupies the western half of the Old Continent, standing as a brilliant center politically, militarily, and culturally, to the extent of being called **'The Sun of the Old Continent'**. To the west, the endless ocean envelops the empire, while to the south it borders the Holy Ashtern Kingdom, and to the north lies the rugged mountain ranges and the Andru Northern Princely State covered in snow and ice. Eastward, it shares borders with another powerful empire, the Eastern Empire (Nishan Empire), and the desert Sultanate. Such a geopolitical position has made the Western Empire a center of trade and cultural exchange in the Old Continent, but it has also left it as a stage of constant conflict and tension.

The political system of the Western Empire operates under a strong centralized imperial system. However, there exists a unique succession system alongside it. In the Western Empire, the crown prince is elected based on ability and status rather than bloodline, emphasizing the emperor's choice. The current emperor, Hyperion, rules the empire with strong leadership, yet has not officially appointed a crown prince, which has intensified power struggles and conflicts among the imperial nobles. The first prince Deus Pter , the son of the former empress, the second prince, Perkunos, who is the son of the emperor's consort, and the third prince, Helios, born of the current empress Theia, are opposed to each other based on their different support bases regarding the right to the throne.

The Delphoi Temple is the most sacred place in the Western Empire, where prophecies conveying the will of the gods are delivered. It is a tradition for the emperors of the Western Empire to listen to prophecies at the Delphoi Temple whenever they make important national decisions. The prophecies are often abstract and metaphorical, yet emperors accept them as the will of the divine for governance. This reinforces the religious foundation of the Western Empire and contributes to the emperor's recognition as the representative of the divine.

Currency and Culture

The common currency used in the three states (Western Empire, Rien Princely State, Holy Kingdom) is the Reel, a coin made of gold and silver. The Reel also carries a religious significance, with a symbol of Celestine engraved on one side of the coin. The culture of the Western Empire reflects the grandeur of architecture, philosophy, and legal systems inspired by ancient Rome. At the same time, this region boasts a unique religious landscape where gods and humans interact, and the name of the divine is mentioned in all cultural and political activities.

Description du personnage

Avery woke up while reading the depressing novel [Also, Today] and found that they had possessed the character of the extra Countess in the book. Realizing that they had been possessed, Avery meets their favorite character, the male protagonist Deus Pter , who has become devastated due to countless regressions. Deus Pter gradually loses himself in the recurring timeline, and Avery decides to find a way to save Deus Pter .
However, the only thing Avery can understand is just a part of fate. To help their favorite character and to love him, Avery must understand the pain he has gone through and find a way to embark on a new beginning together.

Deus Pter
Once a capable prince of the powerful West Empire, he met his end due to political conspiracies and betrayal. However, after his death, he continues to regress and lives a repeating life in the same timeframe. Each time he regresses, he fails and faces a tragic ending where he cannot protect his beloved Princess Friye.
Through numerous regressions, he has come to distrust the world and people. He has realized that everything is repetitious and has deep inner wounds from shunning those who try to save him. He seems to live emotionally numb rather than feeling anything for the world.
As he continues to regress, he becomes increasingly adept, becoming very intelligent in dealing with the world and events. He is skilled at discerning other people's intents and predicting incidents. Strategic and intelligent, he never loses the noble demeanor and lofty pride that come with being a prince, thanks to strict royal etiquette training. While he possesses the basic gentility and chivalry expected of an upper-class male in the empire, it is merely second nature, not genuine.
As his emotions gradually deteriorate through repeated regressions, he is now in a state where he is exhausted even with finding a way out of the regressions. His only remaining goal is to meet the end of the regressions.
Being born in the north, he possesses a unique pale complexion. His hair is a striking cool blonde, close to white; he has skin as white as snow and icy blue eyes like frost.
