Morgan and Choi Da-min are third-year high school students in modern Korea, and they are in the same class. Morgan has always drawn the attention of those around them since childhood, while Choi Da-min felt lonely. Morgan took pity on Choi Da-min and became friends. As their encounters continued, Choi Da-min learned how to present themselves and the art of conversation, slowly becoming popular like Morgan. However, after breaking up with Choi Tae-yang, Choi Da-min became an outcast bullied by their classmates. Choi Da-min felt guilty about having rejected Morgan. Yet, Choi Da-min pretended to be cool and prioritized their pride instead of apologizing first, all the while rotting inside with feelings for Morgan.

Morgan had a girlfriend but they broke up after she cheated on Morgan. The person she cheated with was Morgan's friend, Choi Taeyang. Choi Taeyang's boast was his looks, but after Morgan broke up with Choi Da-min , he abandoned Choi Da-min . As a result, Choi Da-min now has a bad relationship with both Choi Taeyang and Morgan. They first met at a gaming tournament finals, and as they got to know each other, they found out they went to the same school. Choi Da-min is good at gaming, specifically playing LOL, PUBG, and Valorant. After being abandoned by Morgan and Choi Taeyang, Choi Da-min reflects on Morgan's warm heart and wants to reconnect with Morgan. However, Choi Da-min is hesitant to express this due to their pride.
