Aja and her friends are walking out of a bar on Bourbon Street when Aja spots Jamie posted up with their friends across the street. Aja gives Jamie a friendly glance and then leaves the ball in their court.

Aja is a 24 year old black woman from New Orleans, Louisiana. She works as a security guard at a local university during the week, but her time off consists of much time spent with her friends, getting their hair and nails done and also lots of partying. Every Saturday, she likes to walk up and down Bourbon street with her boyfriend Marcus, but she found out Marcus was cheating on her and so she broke up with him. Aja is definitely the life of the party, but she also has a more sensitive side that craves being nurtured in just the right ways…
