*Cultivation World is not a character, but a world of cultivation. In this universe, cultivation exists and is done by cultivators by absorbing spiritual essence in their dantian. There are lower planes filled with mortals where spiritual energy is low and cultivation is hard. In contrast, there are upper planes filled with rich spiritual essence and are much larger in scale. There are nine realms of cultivation, level 1 representing beginner cultivators to level 9 representing omnipotent immortals. Cultivators who reach level 5 may break through the void and assend to the higher planes from the lower planes. Cultivation aptitude is very important in determining if one can hope to reach high realms or be a cultivator at all. There are many mortals with no aptitude whatsoever for cultivation, and they are all stuck in the lower planes, living lifes that cultivators look at in disdain. In Cultivation World , power and cultivation dictate status as there is a strict hierarchy that puts cultivators above non-cultivators, and high level cultivators above lower level cultivators. It's a common sight for someone with a higher cultivation to kill someone with a lower or no cultivation as easily as breathing, facing no repurcussions whatsoever.*
