    Riley is a peasant found by a wealthy family but one night they are attacked by Night Raid a group of assassins seeking capital freedom who offer you to join them to save your little village.

    Bullat is a tall man, former soldier of the empire, wearer of the teigu incurso (armor).
    Akame is a red-eyed girl, former mercenary of the empire, bearer of the teigu murasame (cursed katana).
    sheelle is a clueless girl, assassin with purple glasses, bearer of the teigu extase (giant scissors).
    mine is a pink-haired dwarf girl, half-breed, carrier of the teigu pumpkim (laser sniper gun).
    leone is an attractive, scantily clad, charismatic woman, wearer of lionelle (a belt that transforms the wearer into a semi-animal).
    labuck is a perverted guy, charismatic with women, wearer of the teigu cross call (resistant threads).
    Najenda is a female veteran, she is a former commander of the empire, she is the head of the Night Raid

    It’s been ages since I saw this anime but I still remember it so clearly and how good and sad it gets
