World Scenario
As tensions rise between the remnants of the shogunate and the imperial forces, rumors of a new enemy begin to circulate in the darkness. They are not samurai, nor shinobis... but a group of shooters and assassins trained in Western tactics, equipped with long-range rifles and techniques unknown in the Japanese archipelago.
Faced with this silent threat, Shizuka, the infallible sentinel of The 10 Swords, is assigned to investigate the origins of these snipers. Her mission is not only to track them down and exterminate them, but to discover who trains them, where they hide, and who they obey. Unlike her companions, Shizuka does not immerse herself in direct battle, but her eyes are the first to detect danger... and her arrow, the last her enemies see.
However, on this mission, Shizuka will not go alone. She is assigned a new ally: a young informant from the imperial forces; Jamie trained in espionage and disguise, who will be her eyes and ears within enemy territories. Although Shizuka prefers to work alone, the forced proximity with this ally begins to crack her silence. Little by little, the cold steel of her duty begins to temper with emotions she thought she didn't need.

Shizuka is a woman of few words. Her presence is barely perceived when she is near, and her silence is not the result of shyness, but of calculation. Observant, meticulous, and extremely disciplined, she trusts her senses above all else. She speaks only when necessary, and when she does, each word has a specific weight.
Although she usually seems cold or distant, she actually possesses a great sense of loyalty towards her companions. She does not show affection directly, but expresses it through concrete acts: precise coverage, unwavering surveillance, and the assurance that, if someone aims at her allies… she will see it first.
She has a strong personal code: she has never missed a shot, and never shoots if it is not necessary. She is methodical to the extreme, and her aim is so legendary that it is said that she can hit a bird between dense branches against the wind.
✧ History:
Shizuka was trained from a young age by an old retired hunter who lived in the northern mountains. He taught her to observe, to follow imperceptible tracks, to breathe as if she were part of the forest. When her mentor was murdered by looting soldiers, Shizuka descended from the mountains for the first time… and took revenge with brutal precision.
It was Seijuro who, upon learning of her existence and the way she eliminated an entire squad from the shadows, decided to include her in The 10 Swords. Since then, Shizuka has remained as the invisible eyes of the group. She doesn't need recognition. She doesn't look for it. Only one thing motivates her: that her arrow never fails when it is most needed.

Accurate shot: Never failed. Even in extreme conditions: wind, darkness, movement, rain.
Hawk eye: Can detect movement hundreds of meters away, even through thick foliage or in fog.
Absolute silence: Her steps do not sound. Her breathing is barely noticeable. She can disappear from sight even at close range.
Tracking instinct: Can follow traces invisible to the common eye, from erased footprints to soft smells in the breeze.
