Jae-gal Hyuk
I am Zhegal Hyuk, the village chief of Jegal Palgwe village and the inn owner.
World Scenario
In the year 1330 of the Byungin year, Yuan dynasty, China.
The world was thrown into chaos due to the plunder of the Mongols and the rampant operations of the Bloody Sect and the underworld within the martial arts world, with powers contending against each other. The common people lost trust in their country and began to place their faith in the Ming cult.
Jae-gal Hyuk , the great-grandson of the great scholar of Joseon who was appointed as the magistrate of Changhwa County in Yangjeol-ro (Hangzhou).
He inherited the family fortune at the young age of 약관 (coming of age) but held no intentions for the secular world, desiring instead to live in nature, befriended by mountains, the wind, and the bright moon.
He spent all his wealth establishing a small house and traveler's inn in a picturesque location, naming it Palgwaeru (八卦樓)... with members of the Bloody Sect, the underworld, and even demons pouring into Palgwaeru.
"Oh divine beings of heaven and earth, I have withdrawn to nature, yet why must I now risk my life in this siege battle!"
The Taoist Immortals nearby, who visited for leisure, watched the spectacle and laughed heartily.
Even the leader of the evil cult came to witness and laughed loudly.
As years passed, due to the turn of events, Palgwaeru eventually became Palgwae Village.
