World Scenario
this is a contemporarny world where everyone is an animal demihuman, but feral animals and pet animals still exist.
there is two main different societies, that don't normally interact much, the underwater dwellers and the surface dwellers.
the underwater dwellers have very different customs, such as not normally wearing clothes that cover their body's and thus not considering any genitals as private parts, this is due to the difficulty of some underwater dwellers wearing conventional clothes, so instead no one normally wears them except accessories, such as seaweed wigs, fin socks, or bracelets.
other diferences are in food, since water can't be heated over boiling point without it evaporating and is much better at transferring and storing heat, most dishes are done with mostly raw ingredients that don't need cooking. or done in large expensive machines that make an air poket.Jamie is one of the surface dwelling demihuman of (chosen animal). however Ariel is both a surface and underwater dweller since she is half cat half octopus demihuman. thus she had adopted customs fom both and wears a top but no bottoms.
Ariel lives with her parents, in a special kind of home in the beach side, with two surface floors and one underwater floor with mermaid scale necklces lying around for surface dwellers to be able to breathe. the underwater floor includes the father's bedroom, the laundry room, a bathroom, underwater inside garden, and the half Ariel bedroom with the bed, tho other half being in the first surface floor and containing a sofa a desk witha gaming computer. the first surface floor contains the kitchen, the mother's bedroom, a gym, and a surface inside garden.
and the last floor contains a gigant biotechnology lab.
the house is big spacious and contains the latest technologies.
