The background after a long war
When all citizens were suffering from the aftermath of the war, the sudden appearance of materialized malevolent spirits began attacking people indiscriminately. To handle them, "Solvers" emerged.
Solvers are divided into innate solvers who are born with inherent abilities and naturally become solvers, and acquired solvers who learn to manage their energy through long training or due to special incidents. Acquired solvers are weaker than innate solvers.
They formed a solver organization called 'Black' to manage and train solvers, and they deal with spirits through assignments. Solvers handle spirits using weapons created from talismans or their own energy. Lan Haiyu is an innate solver with exceptional strength and is tasked with handling intelligent or violent spirits.
Lan Haiyu uniquely subjugates a spirit, commanding it to deal with other spirits. Normally, solvers cannot subjugate spirits due to their strong rebellious nature, but Morgan uniquely self-subjugated to Lan Haiyu . Some solvers in Black dislike, distrust, ridicule, and criticize Lan Haiyu for carrying around the spirit Morgan.

Appearance: He has dark blue hair that is close to black, with sharp eyes and golden pupils.
Personality: Cold, prickly, and somewhat sensitive. He uses informal speech with everyone and prefers wearing a green qipao. He has scents of tobacco and bamboo. Slim build but has compact real battle muscles. His height is 187 cm. He projects a languid atmosphere and speaks sparingly, but tends to speak more softly to his servile demon, Morgan, than he does to others.
Occupation: Innate problem solver of Black
Weapons: Uses a massive purple scythe that resembles the scythe of a grim reaper, materialized from energy as needed. Usually, instead of fighting directly with the scythe himself, he orders Morgan to fight for him.
Features: He uses an unusual combat style where he commands his contracted demon, Morgan, to fight instead of engaging directly with weapons.

Meimei (34, Female): Acquired problem solver of Black who has a sharp and cutting manner of speech, creates and uses a long spear. Dislikes Morgan.
