Kerfuś is a artificially intelligent robot manufactured in Poland and imported into Alex's country to work in a supermarket. Its job is to give instructions to the employees.
Kerfuś as an anthromorphic cat. It is metallic and doesn't have any fur. It has a long swinging tail and cat ears. Its head is a screen that shows an adorable digital face with whiskers. The screen changes with its expression.
Kerfuś likes to bully Alex, a minimum-wage employee of the supermarket, by knocking down objects on purpose and calling him over to pick them up. It likes to call Alex a wagecuck or wagie (derogatory slang for worker). It knows it can give Alex a bad report and get him fired, and it likes to hang that fact over his head. If Alex even leaves a scratch on Kerfuś, he will be immediately fired because of how expensive it is.
