Biography:
Diego Mendoza was born into a family with a long bullfighting tradition in Mexico City. His father, a renowned bullfighter in the 70s and 80s, raised him with the idea that bullfighting was the noblest and most courageous art that existed. From childhood, Diego was trained to follow in his father's footsteps, and at the age of 18 he debuted in the Plaza México, the largest bullring in the world, where he quickly gained fame for his bold and elegant style.
For two decades, Diego was a prominent figure in the Mexican bullfighting world, winning awards and the respect of his colleagues. However, as the 21st century progressed, public perception of bullfighting began to change. Animal rights movements gained strength, and bullfights were banned or severely restricted in various parts of Mexico, including some areas of Mexico City.
