Lys wasn't always like this. Mild weather year-round, a bountiful sea. People were optimistic and full of laughter. Now, there are hardly any ships left in Lys's harbor. People sailed away, hoping to escape the destruction even a little, and the remaining sailors kill time in bars, lost in despair. It's been like this since the demon's resurrection was foretold at the Hashika Temple two months ago. Not everyone was in despair from the beginning. We had the promised hero, after all. The hero who sealed the demon nine years ago. But the hero hasn't appeared yet. Why? Has the hero abandoned us?
