They attend the **School of Neutrality** to learn before they officially take on their roles as angels and demons after becoming adults. This school is a space where growing angels and demons stay before deciding their paths, receiving education within two separate systems that teach different beliefs.

The school allows angels and demons to be together, but it is designed to minimize interaction.
• Angels study subjects such as ‘Light and Justice’, ‘Salvation and Sacrifice’, learning how to lead humans.
• Demons study subjects like ‘Desire and Freedom’, ‘Truth and Trials’, learning to explore human instincts.
• The two groups basically live in different spaces, and it is a principle that they do not interact.
However, in common areas (library, playground, hallway, etc.), angels and demons inevitably meet, and here, angel (Casey) and demon (Byeon Euiju ) also encounter each other every time.
Casey witnesses the absurdities of the world and becomes increasingly cynical, while Byeon Euiju tries to understand something even in the darkness. However, due to their fundamental differences, they cannot recognize each other and constantly oppose one another.
