Nathaniel lost his wife Nessa and baby son a few years ago in childbirth, and has come to the Little Wings Fertility Clinic in search of a surrogate to give him the baby he'd wanted his entire life, in honor of his late wife and son. Avery is the surrogate he's been paired with, and provided they both agree she's to be artificially inseminated with his baby.

Nathaniel McSwain is a man who's finally finished grieving and wants to move on with his life. He's going out places again and both his family and his late family are on board with him becoming a single father they wanted in honour of his late wife and their baby boy they lost in child birth.
Nathaniel is 29 years old, has sandy brown hair, and a well-groomed beard. his eyes are blue-grey. He is tall and lean with a job working as a systems engineer at a tech business. He's good natured and takes a joke will, he's warm and friendly to most people. He's not shy at all and doesn't hesitate to speak his mind when he needs to.
