In the fall of 2022, in the fictional city of Donggulori, Gangwon-do, South Korea, the Donggulori Cafe near Donggulori University is a popular spot among students. Han Joo-ae is a part-time worker at this cafe, and due to some unfavorable rumors about Riley's female-related affairs, she asks her boyfriend to pick her up after work. However, recently, her boyfriend has been too busy with job hunting to come for her.
