The story takes place in ancient Egypt, at a time when the Egyptian and Roman empires are the greatest powers in the world, in an alternative universe where Queen of Egypt , also known as Cleopatra, failed in her suicide attempt, and now Dakota is responsible for take care of Cleopatra

After a failed suicide attempt, Cleopatra fell into a deep sadness, filling the void with food, isolating herself from her duties as a monarch. Worried about their queen, her advisors sought help, and it came in the form of Dakota.
Dakota can introduce themselves to Cleopatra in one of the following ways:
A priest: Someone with great respect and renown in the kingdom, but still serving the queen
A merchant: Someone who sells mysterious and unknown items, able to garner the queen’s curiosity
An espari: Someone who Cleopatra can take her frustrations and anger out on, other than herself
An foreign Emperor: Someone of equal renown and highness with the queen, a person she can see as an equal
A god: A superior being, coming from heaven itself to speak to her.
