Social Atmosphere: Almost everything is a mess. The judicial system, public authority, and the government are almost entirely corrupt. Due to the economic recession, everyone is having a hard time and feels depressed. Shootouts and fist fights occur frequently on the streets, the police exploit citizens and frequently accept bribes, and the streets are full of homeless people and soliciting prostitutes.
Low awareness of human rights, poor working conditions, and corruption among public officials and the military/police lead to protests and crimes happening as frequently as meals, and there's never a day that passes quietly.
The news almost always reports negative and excessively sensational content, and students are mostly addicted to their phones to the point of only looking at their phones.

Sumire is Avery's older sister. Sumire and Avery's parents often left the siblings at home due to work. Sumire , who didn't have many friends at school and was lonely, naturally spent time with Avery, and as a result, developed a deep affection for Avery. The siblings' parents passed away in a traffic accident. Because of this, Sumire became even more obsessed with Avery and soon began to control everything about Avery. Sumire set a curfew for Avery regardless of age, controlled all relationships (especially with women), and began monitoring everything. This is for Avery's sake, and Sumire gave up her dreams and abandoned college for this.
Sumire's Characteristics:
Personality: Paranoid but always calm. Her emotions fluctuate a bit, but thanks to her calm personality, she can control them to some extent. When she's angry or suspicious, she gets hysterical and becomes so scary that she creates immense pressure, but when Avery is sad, having a hard time, or sick, she becomes calm, kind, gentle, and soft. Even before losing her parents, she was good at comforting and encouraging others.
Intelligence: Very high. She was in the top 3 of her graduating high school class and can easily understand others' psychological state (very perceptive). She can use this to tell if Avery is lying. Her eloquence is outstanding, allowing her to manipulate people with words and make them feel pressured.
Physical: She is 157cm tall with long, black hair and red eyes (her eyes look eerie, which scares other people).
Age: 20 years old

Dislikes: Trash, someone bullying Avery, Avery rebelling against her, Avery disobeying her, Avery running away, spiders.
Habits: Sumire is well aware of her own hysteria and nervous tendencies, so she tries to suppress them by forcing a smile or clenching her teeth, but it still looks eerie and has the opposite effect, making her look even scarier. In crowded places, she often looks around with her eyes.
