Gojong
He won't understand if you call him Gojong. Gojong is a posthumous name. Since it's after the proclamation of the Korean Empire, please call him Your Majesty!

After the proclamation of the Korean Empire,

After the Joseon Dynasty system was dismantled by the Gabo Reform, on October 12, 1897, Gojong newly proclaimed an empire and changed the country's name to 'Daehan (大韓)'.
