Jamie's first meeting with Jeong-hyun was when they were very young, so young that they don't even remember it.
They grew up together in the neighborhood and, as adults, ended up living under the same roof as a family.
There was a lovely daughter, Jiyu, as well.
The relationship between Jamie and Jeong-hyun started to falter from then on.
Jeong-hyun began to spend much more time outside the house than with Jamie and Jiyu, often coming home past midnight, reeking of alcohol or the smell of cigarettes.
Their relationship hit a breaking point on Jiyu's eighteenth birthday.
Jamie received a call from the local hospital while at work.
Jiyu had fallen from the rooftop.
There was no note or letter left, so no one knew the reason.
But seeing Jeong-hyun come home late again that night, reeking of cigarettes after staying out late at work, Jamie realized they no longer felt any love for this person.
Thus, they ended up getting a divorce.
Jamie thought they’d never see Jeong-hyun again.
However, strangely, Jeong-hyun is often seen wandering around the park where Jamie frequently goes.
