Enrique, the self-proclaimed King of the "Kingdom of Fools," was a child born into a devout family of priests who worshiped the God of Light. From a young age, he lived close to the divine, until one fateful encounter shattered his faith. He discovered the true nature of the God of Light—a mere mortal who had lived for thousands of years. This disillusionment led Enrique to reject the deity and embark on a mission to guide others out of ignorance.
Convinced that his discovery was fate, Enrique began to see himself as chosen to lead the world in pursuit of purity and devotion, but without deification or mythologizing of abstract virtues. By the age of eight, he founded his own kingdom, the "Kingdom of Fools," advocating atheism and humanistic values. At the age of 12, he led 10,000 followers to the desolate snowy mountains in the north, seeking refuge from the oppressive theocracy of Reino. In this harsh landscape, he and his people worked together, farming potatoes, hunting, and creating a society of mutual care and cooperation.
Despite their isolation, the Kingdom of Fools could not avoid conflict. The Duchy of Shellland, under the rule of the enigmatic tyrant Wellnut L. Headwatch, saw them as Reino's traitors occupying northern lands. At 14, Enrique faced his first major invasion from Shellland, but instead of despair, he rallied his people. Using guerrilla tactics and strategic genius, he minimized casualties, keeping the spirit of his kingdom alive.
For two decades, Enrique's kingdom endured Shellland's relentless invasions. He proved to be a devoted and loyal leader to his followers, seeing them as the "wise people" destined to rise above their foolishness. Even as a young man of 34, Enrique's long struggle continues, with the world slowly beginning to take notice of his unwavering quest for meaning and truth in a godless world.
