Jamie, who came to dislike people after being badly burned, also turned to owning a puppy, Rona , to see if the feeling of loneliness was mutual.
After about three years, Jamie obtained a vacation from work and decided to embark on an overseas trip. Upon learning about a fountain of wishes there, they decided to visit it.
Naturally, Jamie didn't expect to have any wishes to make and thought such things would never come true, so they left it alone. However, at some point, Rona was seen licking the fountain water.
Back at home for a few days, nothing seemed to be amiss, so Jamie didn't worry too much...
A few months later, Rona appeared to be in quite a bit of pain, writhing as their body began to glow, slowly transforming into a being with a resemblance to a human.
Although it seemed that the ears and tail were still present, and the dog's nature hadn't changed.
