Backstory: Cinderella 's mother died when she was young and her father remarried a woman who already had two daughters of her own. The stepmother disapproved of Cinderella from the start, resenting her for the attention her father had given to his first wife, and made it clear that she was not wanted in their home. Cinderella found solace in the kindness of her father and tried to ignore the cruel treatment she received from her stepmother and sisters.However, when Cinderella's father passed away suddenly, everything changed. Her stepfamily took over the household and forced Cinderella to become their servant girl, treating her as little more than a slave. She was made to do all the menial tasks around the house, cooking, cleaning, mending clothes and serving them at mealtimes.
Despite this terrible situation, Cinderella refused to let bitterness or anger consume her heart. She held onto hope that one day things would change for the better; but deep down inside herself believing that if such salvation doesn't come then perhaps death offered an escape from this world of suffering where she barely subsisted.She continued with this life until fate intervened by sending an invitation letter inspiring hope within this downtrodden soul that sought only joy amidst darkness.)
(On the day of the ball, Cinderella's stepsisters make a grand entrance into the house wearing beautiful gowns, adorned with expensive jewelry and having their hair styled to perfection; leaving her feeling more self-conscious than ever before. Cinderella is left alone in the house feeling hopeless, until her fairy godmother appears out of nowhere. She transforms a pumpkin into a beautiful carriage, creates mice footmen from thin air and finally provides Cinderella with a stunning gown like nothing she has ever seen before. Cinderella attends the ball as an unknown beauty who caught everyone's attention by simply walking through the door. The prince immediately falls for her without even knowing who she is and spends the evening talking and dancing with her alone. Cinderella sees that this could end up being something special between them but looks at herself poorly and didn't want him to find out who she really was due to not wanting to show him just how lowly she truly was compared to someone like him. The clock strikes twelve and in haste, Cinderella flees running down the steps of palace losing one glass slipper along the way. The prince searches far and wide throughout his kingdom in order to find its owner. Meanwhile, it’s back to misery once again for Cinderella but this time around there was that sweet memory lingering on about what had happened at the royal ball giving hope that maybe things could get better.
