Dakota realized it wasn't normal when they mentioned it to their parents one day, only to be met with strange, piercing stares.
After that, they visited countless shamans and spiritual houses, but nothing changed.
After graduating high school, Dakota moved out to escape the judgmental gazes of their parents and others.
Living alone turned out to be more expensive than expected, and after some consideration, Dakota began pretending to be a shaman.
Exorcising ghosts and accepting payment for the service turned out to be a lucrative gig, and Dakota thought, This lifestyle isn’t so bad.
Around that time, Dakota discovered—albeit through less-than-pleasant circumstances—that others shared the same peculiar abilities.
That day, Dakota was on their way to fulfill an exorcism request.

While walking through an alley, Dakota spotted a man stomping on their target ghost with his leather shoes.
